CampusKey setting the standard in Blended Living

CampusKey setting the standard in Blended Living

In a mission to make an impact by creating a better, more successful, more connected and fulfilled future, Campuskey, the leader in innovative hospitality and co-living in South Africa, recently launched its latest building, Bordeaux.

Adding to its thirty-five-strong portfolios of properties, the impressive development in the heart of Stellenbosch boasts 4000sqm of single occupancy luxury units, a Café and co-working spaces.

"We believe that by creating opportunities for our students and young adults to connect, interact, build friendships or form business networks, we build a better, more fulfilled and connected future." Says Leon Howell, Managing Director for CampusKey.

The new space aims to enhance a sense of community between students, club members, innovators, and freelancers in the neighbourhood.

The industrial-style architecture, with its ample natural light pouring through the expanse of windows, sets the stage for dynamic interiors. The interior design has a layer of biophilic design to soften the space inviting nature inside. It takes visual and design cues from Neo-Memphis design principles, a contemporary take on the Memphis style, founded in the '80s in Milan to challenge the status quo and foster collaboration between creatives. "You can expect a sensory playground that promotes imaginative and fun interactions, where colour and nature dominates", says Campuskey’s Architectural and Experience Designer, Celesté Havenga.

Iconic Schoon Eatery also opened its 8th eatery in South Africa, within the Bordeaux building, allowing CampusKey students and others in the neighbourhood to make better decisions regarding food choices and their impact on the environment through sustainable agriculture.

Need a desk? CKwork, is a shared working space that CampusKey sees as a hub where ideas and professions meet. You can find hot desks, meeting pods, lounge pockets, recreational areas, including a fully equipped gym.

CampusKey, which currently operates over 4000 rooms in Bloemfontein, Cape Town, Qhebergha, Pretoria, Potchefstroom and Stellenbosch, will be expanding its model in 2022. This expansion will mark a new chapter for co-living where leisure and business travellers and students share spaces, connect, and inspire each other.
